Here's the Situation. I ordered a oil filter relocation kit from Summit Racing (Trans Dapt 1127). When I received the kit, I noticed right off the bat that the part that attaches to the block had a thread diameter that was too large. The nipple provided should have fit both the adapter and relocated attachment. It does not. Called Summit, They asked for a pic of the part in question, was told that was the wrong part. In return!!! They began the process to send me the correct part. Received it within two days. Low N Behold! They sent me the exact same part!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Wrong PART AGAIN!!

Those that have installed a Oil Filter relocation Kit,,,, Which Kit did you use? I've tried searching the forum and found nothing.

Hey Harley#356, Thanks for the input! I JUUUUSSSSSseen this now. It helps when you pay attention! I've seen the Billet adapter plates and paid no attention to them unitl now. I spent money on Parts that I don't even like. Learning lesson. But It's posts like these that will help others.

The Reason Im relocating is
1) ease of filter changing
2) I KEEP forgetting to cock the wheel. the tierod end is always in the way. then i gotta bleep the ignition to turn the rod out of the way. easier to relocate the filter. thats the Only reasons why.

Nah Jus jokin. I like that way best! Thanks Harley#356 for fillin me in on that! I think I'll go with the quick setup for now,,,,, and when I do my motor swap towards the end of the year I'll gladly do the setup recommended by you. I'd like the billet setup. No corners cut. Thanks for educating me on this
