Kick ass! This is what Ford should have done in the first place!

Meh....it would have cost more money if ford did it I think :) That Terminator powertrain isn't cheap!

If they ever come out with better performance parts like trans or awd for my Adrenalin, I'd go built 302 and shoot for 600 hp dd. I didn't go with the Brenspeed B302 forged shortblock because my trucks capacity is sorta capped by the weak driveline (in comparison to an L).

Sweet Trac! Thats a nice looking hot rod there! supercharged and exhaust......................dayumn!:bigtu

That thing is sweet. Any videos

That's cool you got it done, I will have to check it out sometime. Should move along good even with the weight. I was going to do a supercharger on my Mounaineer but didn't keep it long enough LOL.

Confused.. Says AWD HP, but that's a rear wheel Dyno setup. Is your Trac AWD or rear? In either case, I love it!

I disconnect the front driveshaft in non-snow months.

I was wondering about that because I didn't think Brenspeed had an AWD dyno and that would have been kinda high at all 4 wheels. Still makes good power, sounds pretty good too.

It can manage the power. They told me what I could expect from the setup with AWD. All I would have to do is add 1psi but I wanted a measure of decent fuel economy and I don't have my one off 6R80 valve body done yet.

That's also one of the huge reasons I stepped away from the Detriot Rocker cams and Kenne bell boost a pump.

Next year it the year after, my truck will be completely paid for. When that times comes, I'm leasing a Kia for a DD and going for more power.

As for the truck being heavy....it's actually almost the exact same weight as a Lightning. My STA is 46XX.

A friend of mine has a 2008 sport trac V8 with the older version of this supercharger and his makes less than mine. My point, he actually did step on an AWD Dyno and made 370AWHP.

Regardless....I run it in RWD in the summer...always have. Both this Adrenalin and my 2008. It slams through the gears a little faster and has a little more zip but all that is pretty much canceled out with the loss of the AWD launch. Maybe its a more significant powerless on an older AWD or a typical 4x4?

Lol when the hell did you have a Mounty?

Did Donnie buy your old FX4?

A couple years ago, not long after I sold the Harley F150 but I didn't keep it long maybe 5-6 months. Yea he bought that from me back in Jan of '10. I had done MBRP exhaust, Airaid intake, Diablo Predator (with custom tune I did with CMR), Eclipse DVD, etc..etc. I didn't want the payment anymore and then bought my bmw cash after paying the loan off. It had maybe 54k on it when I sold it to him. I was going to do a Magnacharger or Saleen SC on it actually haha.

I am amazed I have kept the bmw this long actually but its been a good car! Mid/high 20's mpg and fun to drive.

I had THREE different supercharger setups for that Harley F150 and never installed any of them. I had an OEM setup from a '03 HD 150, a Magnacharger, and a Paxton Novi 2000. LOL.

Yea that is not too bad weight wise, I knew it couldn't have been a crazy amount. What else is different on the newer SC? I know they changed the upper plenum of the SC but not sure what else.

AWD launches would be nice LOL. A friend of mine has a Syclone and got it right after HS so like '97-98ish and that was my 1st AWD vehicle I rode in, pretty nuts. Ran 13.31@99 stock when he ran it.

Weird it still dynos that much to the wheels in AWD, I am not sure of the HP loss for one of those in AWD, good question.

According to Brenspeed, they also changed the tolerances between the twin screws so they are closer together.

The one I test drive, my friend Joe's in Albany (08 saleen SC Sport Trac) was a little different. There was also a rattle of sorts when under very low boost. I did research and found this to be common. Mine does not experiance that issue at all.

The supercharger itself rattles? That is strange.

The symptoms feel like a rattle but it's just the sound the air makes at low boost passing between the screws. Kind of hard to explain. If you read the specs from Saleen they talk about how they eliminate this issue in the model I have.

I really love it. It's way more fun and more attractive than the Lightning. Although I did like the sound of the L supercharger a little more.

I know a few guys with the Saleen SC on Mustangs but never heard of that but it could be that it was not audible due to the exhaust.

The eaton M112 is pretty tough to beat sound wise, the only other thing that comes close or is better is the 2.3 KB in the L or the 2.2 KB in the Cobra. My friend has a 2.6 KB on his '03 Cobra and it is pretty loud, I posted a vid of it vs. my other friends GT500 on here actually. The GT500 now has the FRPP TVS kit with a custom tune though and is 620rwhp and 620rwhtq so the rematch might not be so close. I drove the GT500 and I spun all the way to 90mph in 3rd gear, I have vids from the track just not uploaded yet. I could only run a 12.3@122 with the stock tires, should be high 10's at 130-132 on sticky tires.

I am hoping to be just a touch slower than the Cobra and GT500 unless I get greedy and run a more aggressive tune. I do all my own tuning so it makes it easy that way.
