I understand everything that you said except in regard to having more belt wrap? Am I assuming that that you’re talking about eliminating the lower right (passenger side) pulley that leads to the tensioner? This is how I mocked mine up.. thanks
Not only does it eliminate a pulley that costs money, it allows a shorter belt (which will stretch less) and increases belt wrap. System drag also goes down a minuscule amount. Charles Warner at Magnum Powers ran computer simulations on my proposal and found it to be beneficial. I stronly reccomend it.
I was reading old posts in regards to MP bridges a couple weeks ago and saw a thread where you were saying that one of the three idler pulleys could be removed without consequence, I can’t seem to locate the thread to reread it.. can you tell me if you tested this out and if you had success with it? I just mocked up a MP bridge and assume that you’re talking about the lower pulley that leads to the tensioner?
