installed 255s & 60# injectors do i need to bypass the resistor are add something for the pumps to make sure their getting the good power?
right atop the IC pump behind the bumper and above the IC HEat exchanger....had to bring this thread back. apparently my resistor was bypassed because my fp gauge reads 60psi at idle, where exactly is the resistor located and i kinda got lost in the dual resistor mod... plz help:smt100:smt100
look in the engine bay to the left of the fuse box there is a small fuse box...open that up, there are two relays there and see if you have a jumper wire where the front relay ise....if not then the relay could be stuck in the Hi positionok, what is the bypass? where does it go?, mine reads 60psi at idle, could they have done the bypass because maybe the owner before me was having problems with the pumps?
did you look at what I postedlook in the engine bay to the left of the fuse box there is a small fuse box...open that up, there are two relays there and see if you have a jumper wire where the front relay ise....if not then the relay could be stuck in the Hi position
only if its stuck in hi....you can swap the two relays in that small fuse box.....they are the same relay...front one is for hi/lo and the rear is for fuel inertia cutoff....i checked it and its not jumped it still has the relay there, if i changed the relay would it make any difference?:smt013:smt100
