Evap Issue

I recently purchased my Lightning and it has a P0455 EVAP System Leak Detected popping up, but it is not triggering the check engine light. I can’t get it inspected so I started investigating the cause and I found that the hose form the EVAP valve to the upper plenum has been removed and a plug has been installed on the upper plenum and the EVAP port is open (not capped or plugged). I do not know why the hose was removed or which path is the best to take so I plan to remove the plug and reattach the hose, but I need to figure out what part I need to buy to thread into the plenum that has the nipple I need to connect the hose.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you for responding but it is not the hose I need it’s the barbed fitting that threads into the plenum. They removed it and put a brass plug in it.

Is the plug tapped?
You could pull the plenum off.. drill and tap it .
For a quick fix.. put a T in the brake booster line.

I was able to get the plug out. Going to see if the parts store has a barbed fitting that has the sage threads.

if that doesn’t work I will put a T in on the Brahe booster line as you mentioned.

I am scratching my head on why they plugged the plenum and removed the hose grin EVAP in the first place.

That’s makes senses.

I ordered the hose with the correct connector from Amazon for under $20 and fixed it.
