damaged oil rings! were to get new ones?

I was dropping my my pistons in this weekend and on the last cylinder(8) the ring compressor came loose as i was taping the piston in. it bent the upper and lower oil rings not the scraper oil ring. were can i get two new ones? they are federal mogul sealed power .020 over rings. should i call MMR and ask them? they took 5 weeks just to get me these rings. will i have to buy a whole set or can i just find the 2?

ouch. I would be so heated. crap like that always happens when your 90% done on something too. What took them so long to send the last time?

he told me they were on back order, i guess since there .020 over sized he didnt have them at his shop. man i only need that one ring too. im so pissed!

I know JL keeps oversized rings in stock, im sure alot of others do as well.. im not so sure on the specific type of ring you have, but if you end up having to get the whole set and not wanting to wait its always an option.

bad, i dont need to spend money on that. i need that money for gaskets and head studs.
