i figure stew will know right off what it is...he is the MAN!!

 

blend door actuator not opening up for heat sounds like.

Could need a new Climate Control Unit

check the vac lines behind the battery on the fenderwell, there is a vacuum cannister there that provides vacuum to the blend doors.

 

First make sure you have water in the system (been there done that)

Then there's prob a cable or electric operated control valve (need to make sure thats working)

 

our system on the Harleys is vacuum controlled and electronic we dont have cables like the Ls

 

Perhaps Heater-Core or T-Stat, if the T-Stat you will/would see a temp jump. However do not trust stock temp gauges. They R crap..........

 

no temp gauge issues I ran it to florida for the weekend and drag raced a few gt's so i doubt that its the t stat i will check what ya suggested stew...thanks again

 

come to think of it...I remember an issue when building this truck...this should be interesting trying to explain.

I swapped cabs, my donor cab was a 02 and I left the heater box in it. when I put the dash in from the harley the plug that goes in by the blower motor was different. the 02 had a plug that came out of the heater box that went to an adapter then went into the harness.

the harley dash plugged in but i had to remove the adapter from the 02 all seemed to plug in fine and all my functions work on my ac but I have no heater. I also can not seem to figure out how to get it to blow on just your face unless its on the vent option which seems to not be ac...
