Ive gone through this off and on for 2 years now. Northeast trucks in that price range are gonna be beat to sh*t and theyre still gonna want $12k for 135k lump because someone will pay it. Im with you though...got very frustrated driving miles upon miles to look at "mint" trucks and dealing with people who really have no clue or are just trying to flip the truck for a quick 1k. I regret selling my 00. Good luck though...theyre out there.

Yea I sold my 01 when I blew it up for financial problems due to helping my family. Now I got better job and sidework to keep me busy for years I m ready to get back in one. I just wish you can predict the future sometimes otherwise I would of kept the truck. I got a 84 Sonoma v8 swap that's just been a money pit to say the least and its no lightning by a long shot. I got it just thinking how expensive can it be compared to the Lightning. What a nightmare to say the least.

I would start looking out of state and down south. I know you have your price range but a cleaner vehicle with no issues shipped to you will be money ahead in long run. Just my two cents.
