Recently when going WOT, truck struggles to climb the rpms. By that I mean it's going good then it stops climbing for a sec then it goes. I raced a stock L and he was keeping up cause my truck would go then fall on its face then go and so on. I recently changed spark plugs (NGK TR6 and gapped to .35), fuel filter, delete egr, delete pcv, plug turkey pan, re-route some vac lines, cleaned intercooler, plenum, TB, changed trans filter and oil. Intercooler pump is working fine. Before all this truck was always running smooth so I know I must of done something wrong. Check engine light is on cause of the EGR delete. Could it be the plugs or the Coil packs. Or do I need a tune. Please help as I'm going to put some performance parts and I wanna make sure it's running right before the actual tune. Also, I noticed it backfires a little at times now.

I would first double check those vac lines you re-routed, then make sure you put fuel filter on facing the right way, and last check your coil packs. Also have you washed your engine bay lately? Possible water somewhere it should not be.

I followed what Whipple shows on this page I found. But won't hurt to double check. I put the bigger navi fuel filter and I'm sure it's facing the right way. I will admit one snapped in half when I pulled it out from the passenger side. Put it together and looks good. That's my only suspicion, but I unplugged it while idle and motor wants to die. I assume it's working. No engine wash

First off you need to address the check engine light. Yes you need a retune after doing the EGR delete. I wouldn't try diagnosing anything else until that's done.

The 2 codes that popped up have to do with the EGR system. Most people were saying I didn't need a tune. If that's the case then it's gonna get done soon
