Has anyone else seen this on the screw that goes on the snout of the Whipple. The screw that is in between the pulley. If anyone knows what the purpose of this please advise me. Recently got the Whipple and has been leaking due to that screw. Really trying to figure out why they would have a hole right in the middle.

Its a vented bolt for the snout. If it wasnt vented you would build up pressure and blow out the snout seal. What you do have is a really old Whipple because they have been using vented studs (ARP) for quite some time now. Most likely your snout seal is leaking or the unit is over full.

JJ thank you so much! The best bet now would just be replacing the seal and keeping that bolt? Jist making sure that the unit is not over filled?+
