Ok so you're still failing. Even in the auto industry part numbers change due to revisions without cost changes.

The 2013-2018 focus st slave assembly was a known failure. The focus RS was introduced with a revised slave. The st's part number was superceded. The new assy was $28 cheaper and included a new pedal.

My point is your conspiracy theory it's all about money line is fucking asanine.

thats why you can have the same part ..5 part numbers reviseed severial years after initial intrioduction

not due to any engineering change ,simply severial price lists have comewand gone
you really wanna sell the boss' stuff at the 97 price ?
