Aloha,
Just purchased a 93 Black lightning last week.
Everything is stock.
I would like to fill up the tire wells.
I was thinking 295/45/20 tires.
Can anyone tell me if they are running this or anything close to this and if I would have any issues with rubbing or have to do any mods?
Thank you very much,

Ahola,

There was a guy who did the same thing you wanted on his gen1 and on 20in 04 wheels from LMR or sm0304? and in my opinion, it did not look good. I would go for 40 series tires. 275/40 in the front and 295/40 in the rear or 305/40 again, this is just my opinion and from my observation.

Aloha DrFraZZy,
Thanks for the reply and your thoughts here.
These are photos of a Gen1 with 295/45/20
I thought the stance looked good and the width of tires were in proportion to the truck.
To each its own I guess :)
I am assuming not, but just wanted to make sure I would not have any rubbing on my stock Gen1 with this set-up
