Looks like you’re cutting and grafting Lightning G.Es, correct?"Finally" started fitting my ground effects. 7 hours in, and I'm a little over half done. I had to modify a bunch of the fiberglass to make it all fit perfectly. I'm glad to have the side steps off the truck. View attachment 550362 View attachment 550363
They are lightning ground effects for an extended cab. Made of fiberglass. The fitment was horrible. Had to cut them apart and remove/add mounts to get everything straight. Hot glue worked amazing to hold things in place while I added fiberglass. The exact reason I've been putting it off. I'm a mechanical guy and don't care for bodywork...Looks like you’re cutting and grafting Lightning G.Es, correct?
Understandable. I’ve always wanted to ditch my OEM running boards (only had them for allow my 5’4” mother to climb in), but I could never find a good body/ground effect kit for our 4x4 SCABs. Street Scene had a kit, but the fit was absolute garbage. They are lightning ground effects for an extended cab. Made of fiberglass. The fitment was horrible.
