While I’m waiting on my motor to get built I decided to pull the exhaust out and clean it up a bit. Jesus Christ was that a shock. It’s all one piece. Looks like a Make a wish foundation kid wielded it all together. Had to drop the transmission mount and passenger side long bar to get it out. Clamps wielded to pipes that are wielded to other pipes WTF. 🤦‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️
Holy crap! The "I got a buddy that can do it cheaper" welder up. SMH

Absolutely love the cogs. I think mine are a motoBlue set. I got them from JokersL about 9 years ago. Love the noise and the occasional “your power steering pump is going out” from the young guy at the gas station. I put the “thunder tip” collector a single big outlet on the exhaust. I like the sound it produces from my magnaflow. My brother is bringing over his flux MIG wielder this weekend. Even with my limited wielding skills I’m sure I can probably clean it up better then it is now. Lol
I joined LightningRodder back when I did because the guy who made the Thundertips, had one for sale, still in the box. He kept two for himself, and decided to sell one of them. Mu cogs are a combination of the first set I bought from Mportetr back in 2010, and a RPM Outlet set. With a Brettco Cog Drive manual tensioner. I was having problems with the belt skipping teeth when I let of f the gas suddenly. The manual tensioner stops that. I don't run it any tighter than the stock tensioner, it just doesn't let off pressure on rapid back offs. Also running a Mag-Hytec deep transmission pan and differential cover. JLP long bars. Stock 04 rims, widened to 12.5 in the back, narrowed to seven inches up front.

Nice set up sir. I see you have the mad mike coil pac screws. Probably the best mod I’ve ever bought. Only wish I had gotten a few packs now.

Doing some wiring soon so I can toggle each bank between afr and boost when datalogging. I sure wish livelink had more than two analog inputs.... Also, adding hood vents to the harwood hood above the turbos. I've got to get off my a$$ and design them first.

Been helping my brother with his project lately. 2005 Saleen Mustang with a 7.3 godzilla and twin 6766 precision turbos. He parted out his 5.4 4v build.

Picked up my formerly chrome grill / headlight surround from the wrap shop today. They did an outstanding job on it, for $250.00. I am surprised they can wrap a piece with some many compund curves and make it look like it's painted.

Well the exhaust has a few more holes then I originally saw. Fixed them with my brother Flux MIG wielder. Definitely not a wielder by any stretch of the imagination but it worked. Shit I couldn’t make it any worse lol. So it’s painted and functional at least

And I got the new shroud sticker for mike(Oldtimer). He was in the process of making it when his son passed unexpectedly. So I’m going to add a something to it in remembrance of Stephen.

That's first time I've seen an xpipe placed there.

Also, very awesome of ya to include Stephen.

Lol not a x-pipe. It’s just the angle of the picture.

My truck is becoming a rolling remembrance. I won a center console in a raffle from chris(the12fast4u) that he did to raise money for a friend of his that was injured badly in a random assault. I put a little plaque on it too.

Boss Hoss. I know, the things I do to my truck are not overwhelming like all the things you guys do to yours. I'm still a Die Hard LIGHTNING buff none-the-less. I'll keep mine going as long as I can. I don't want a slammed to the ground street pounding monster. Just a nice looking weekend toy. have three bad-ass motorcycles if I feel the need to scare the crap out of myself. And believe me, all three can do it. I'll be 62 soon, and still riding bad-ass motorcycles.

got it aligned and inspected (requirement for registration) for the first time in 3 years, and on the way home one of my wideband o2 sensors fell out and was dragging for 6 miles or so.
I also found a small bit of coolant under it very near the front of the passenger door. I'll be investigating that this weekend, hoping its just a small hole in a IC coolant hose and not the heater core.
