Still. It's like 6 bolts and makes pulling it a lot easier.
Honestly I've never seen an engine come out with that many parts
This was my first ever engine pull, definitely trial and error for me bud.

Test fitted my turbo headers. The CG Fab RH header doesn't fit on a 4x4 at all. Had to cut it apart and tack it for clearances. Already shipped it back to CG Fab for modifications. Glad I opted to have that side tack welded together for test fitting.

LH header fits perfectly except it's close to the frame near the engine mount. Little cutting and welding when the engine is out will take care of it.

321 stainless steel upgrade

Lots of threads on how to do it right. Next time just ask.

Got it back out again! No stellar passes, still trying to get it to hook and get back in my routine, but making progress. Right at that 140 mph mark with 19 lbs of boost, I'll take it lol

Big thanks to @svtmadness for letting me borrow his bogarts & hoosiers to get some runs this fall

Installed my Aerospace brakes, no installation issues other than some missing hardware. Definitely saves over 30lbs for the fronts.

Got my engine out and on the stand. Time to sell my cams and get my heads to the shop.

Got the IC lines tucked and routed and cut holes directly above the Trick. After months of waiting, Brad @ BG came through on the Welds. I am impressed with them in person and pics do not do them a solid. Today I hoping to install Josh’s fan kit PRM’s behind the coolant res. I also made a quick setup to cycle vinegar through the radiator since I saw some orange rust. I was looking at the 2 tranny cooler fittings and might try a local auto supply shop for the 5/8-18 plugs since I decided on the SD Cooler and bypassing the radiator but I saw some nice aluminum ones on Summit. I am trying to understand how the tranny fittings actually sealed to the outside of the radiator. Going to look into it more today since I did not notice any type of O’ring seal.

Weighed my truck today, 3720lbs. Only weight reduction mods I've done since my last 3800lbs weight are Lithium-ion battery and Aerospace Front Brakes for a total of 80lbs~ weight reduction.

S77, the only one offered at the moment in our bolt pattern. There are other styles I prefer more but have to change the lug patterns as most know and have done. Either way, they are pretty rad 👍🏻

By chance, did you take any pictures of the actual components of the Aerospace brakes? From what I've seen, the caliper mounting bracket appears to be just a flat bar of aluminum (maybe steel) with some holes drilled in it. Nothing like the nice caliper bracket included in the Wilwood kit.

@P_Franko03 maybe I missed it somewhere else but what is the reason for running the ARG Supercharger Coolant Restrictor?
