I want to buy a ported blower and install a smaller upper pulley. What is the smallest upper pulley that I can run on the stock belt? smallest if I buy a idler setup? HOw much would each pulley add?
Oh yeah dont want to go with the lower pulley cause of removing it. This way I can just change out blowers.

I've been running the SFPH upper pulley (Dial-Ur-Boost) set up for @ 3 years now.
DEF the best on the market, and you can change uppers in less than 2 minutes if
your in a hurry. (3 if your not, hehehehe) 1 minute if you really rush  :D

I currently have the 2.93 (thats stock size) and also their 2.80, that'll add a couple of lbs of boost (some see as much as 3 more lbs)

As for the performance improvement, YOU WILL DEF NOTICE IT IMMEDIATLY,
and you will also notice that SOB will give you boost faster, (LIKE INSTANTLY)
Uppers are known for that (even know many disagree, it's a fact jack)

As for belts, you can run both on the stock belt

As for how small you can go, Terry (SFPH) South Florida Pulley Headquarters is a Vendor here, and DEF the Upper Pulley Man (after all, he invented the first for the L)
and the first for pretty much every other S/C out there

He now offers a new Hub and Pulley set up that will allow 2.6, 2.8, 2.93, + 3.10
Anything less than 2.8 on a Eaton, and you will have to file down the ribs a little,
but it's a very easy job, and not much has to be filed

I just happen to have a ported Eaton WITH the SFPH set up on it, that I soon will not be using, I got me a Magnum Powers Supercharger now :D
but I think Josh is buying the Pulley set up ???

Plenty of info there on his site, or copy your post and put it in the Vendor Section and Terry will DEF answer you right away

Simon, the Upper Pulley is a good way to go for added boost, as well as the Lower Crank Pulleys. Right now, we are having a 10% off sale on all our DUB Non-Slip Pulley Units. Check them out here:

So Rob if I add a 2.8 upper onto my ported eaton with a 4# lower I will be seeing 17-18ps? I am close to Getting some long tubes and they say LT's take away 2psi is this true or false? I can't afford a KABOOM right now, so If I should stay away from the 2.8 upper for a while then I will.

Rob you say your going to a magnum, what are you doing with that ported eaton?

AGREED
That was my set up, Terry's 4lb Lower, and his 2lb Upper, the Wasp Port, and @17lbs of boost.

OH YA, AND 100HP OF NITROUS ON TOP OF THAT  :smt109

slvrlightning, I haven't giving it A LOT of thought, but either way I want to keep an Eaton,
let me give it some thought. If I do anything it will have to be swaping cases with someone and a few bucks.

Many are runing 4+2+Port now, I feel it's a safe set up with the proper tune,
schitt I was throwing 75-100HP of Nitrous on top of that [smilie=laugh.gif]

I think I will order the 2.8 upper and a idler kit from my local tuner who is going to dyno tune my truck and let him do his magic. Thanks for all the info. guys

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I am gonna buy a ported Eaton and then the 2.80 upper pulley. How much boost would I be running?
