I had considered adding extraction fans way back in the day. They would have been thru the fender area and really out of site. But with enough data posted when forums were hot, I determined them to be of little value as IAT temps dropped to a reasonable level under acceleration. That was the only time I really cared about losing the heat.

Bingo. Under hood temps have almost zero effect on iat1 or 2 once the vehicle is moving.
