Check the plugs,is there a chance they fouled.I had something similar happen to me.WOT,shut down around 100 and wouldnt start.Coasted to about 40 and started again.Seemed to run fine.Pulled the plugs and had 4 bad ones.Melted electrodes and cracked ceramic.

Just went out to check some maf transfer changes I made in my tune. A/F 11.6-11.7 through second gear. Hit third at wot and the engine died. No funny noises, no warning. Acted just like when I had a bad chip in the truck. I tried to re-start and it didn't. Tried again and floored it and it fired up and ran fine all the way home.
I don't have a chip in this truck so that's not it. All the electrical worked fine also. Any ideas? Is there something in the computer, some parameter I may have exceeded that shuts the engine off? It did not come close to the rev limit, was running 20 psi and the boost bypass is shut off in the computer.
No codes are set in the computer.

Off topic slightly, but do you have the Raptor datalogger? What brand of wide band are you using? I do use the Raptor, very nice unit. I also use the Innovate LM-1 wideband which can be linked directly into the Raptor although I have not done that yet.

Did you use a value file or did SCT set you up with a starter file?
Also, I read the other post about your pinging issue and your timing, maybe I can help with that as well.
If possible ( not sure how the PRP works) , send the file to [email protected] and I'll check it.

PS, FWIW when I went 10.59, it was at 16 degrees of timing. My built motor has never seen more than that and all of my other 10's have been tuned @ less than 16, my first 10 was @ 12 degrees
Thanks JJ. Are you able to read the SCT Pro Racer files? They give a start up file and then I tune from there. My point on the pinging in the other thread was I was using the Torco additive which at the mix I had should have netted me 100+ octane, and I wondered why I could only run 15 degrees with 20 psi of boost when others are recommending 20 degrees of timing with 100 octane fuel and 20 psi of boost. Nothing more than this Torco stuff does not seem to work for me!
My rev limiter and wot shift schedule were only 400 rpms apart so I bumped the rev limiter another 200 rpms and I need to drive the truck again and see if it shuts off again. It has never done this before and I've gone WOT many times from second to 3rd gear. with the previous shift points and rev limit. It obviously accelerates harder with the built motor, but I would expect to see a rev limit problem on the 1-2 shift, not the 2-3. If it isn't that I am lost as to what it was.

Camco- Just curious in knowing which plugs your running? Theres a reason I am asking that may help your problem.

My truck did the same thing only at 100mph @ WOT only....
Changed plugs, fuel filter and did not work. Got a new tune and that fixed my shut off/studdering problem.
