paint my dynatech/bassani exhaust black?

i dont like the way it looks right now... like really dirty.. hahah.

any advice?

i'll most likely get it professionally done if i paint it whatever i paint it.

You can't paint headers, paint will burn off. You could remove and have them ceramic coated, that would protect them. The Dynatech's should be stainless and I think the Bassani is also. Try steel wool on them and see if they clean up. Darrell

I've used BBQ Grill paint on my green trucks exhaust and it's been fine.

but I also did a lot of prep work...

didn't bc lightning get his exhaust done black... it looks good anyways.

i don't want a shiny paint or anything i want a flat black so it never looks rusty or any of that... plus i want the headers to blend in more.. because if i ever polish them i know they'll just go back to looking ugly in the future.

your right i have more important things to spend money on and if i were to waste the money it would be on ceramic coating but idk who does it around here so i think screw it just install them.

you can try steel wool and WD 40 to clean them. but i would avoid painting. even barbecue paint will burn off eventually.
