Long long story (ya like I can say anything short), heheheheh
SHORT VERSION:
Weather report changed to DEF rain in the afternoon
Gates didn't open till 12:00 (rain expected in afternoon hours)
I THOUGHT the window was going to be a short one so V and
me agreed the best thing was to run it hot straight off the 150 mi ride
there. We also decided to make it WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING other
than slicks. NO WEIGHT REDUCTION, NO COOL DOWN, NO NOTHING.
I had AT LEAST a hundred extra lbs on top of that in Tools, Cooler, Camera's,
Air Comp, track crap, etc....
So since I HAVE NOT been able to run another 11 since that
OH SO PERFECT DAY, and have actually gone backwards to 12.1
and 12.0, the last few times out, I decided the 100HP jets were
going in.
You have to remember that the new kit DOES NOT launch at 100%,
so for @ 1/5th of the run you are less HP than the zex @75HP.
(60HP to be exact). You also have to remember I am using a
exact 2 to 1 ratio of Fuel to Nitrous with my jetting, that is more fuel
than the Zex jetting ratio and my guess is the over all difference is prob
@15-20 HP more for SOME of the run, CLEARLY NOT ALL OF IT.
Of course the reason I bought the Race Tested Kit, is because of these
adjustments and tunability options I didn't have with my former Zex Kit.
(Plus I was maxed out at 75HP with Zex, and I needed MORE, my kit
was a 55/65/75 HP)
So the goal was consistant 11's
and the results were
2 passes,
and 2 FRESH NEW 11's,
WOO HOO
Denny, the Race Tested Kit WAS FLAWLESS
It gave me something ZEX COULDN'T FOR 2 YEARS
11 fist time out
ran faster the second run (32 minutes later. idle'd for @15 in the lanes)
AND TWO 11's in a row, 1 better than the next, WOO HOO......
Best part of course is WE KNOW I can take an EASY 200lbs
out of it, and with a PROPER cool down, I GRRNTY we got 2/10 - 3/10's waiting for me JUST THE WAY IT IS :smt041

Terry, I LOVE the new Pulley's
I looked down @ 2/3 into the run, and the Boost WAS INSANE :shock:
There were TWO people at the track with Belt Slipping I ran into, one
I drove there with, he actually took it off, and was trying to get the
lines people to give him VHT for the Belt
(the sticky stuff they put down)
Of course I took him over to my Truck and had him feel the grooves
in your Non Slip Upper, he was digging the 100MM pulleys too.
Worked amazing, I def had MASSIVE BOOST today, Great Product,
I'm more than Happy, Thank You Too
And Thank You Johnny Lightning and Sue
I spend the day with Johnny, Sue and the Crew, I'll talk about that
in a diff post.
