We will drive the truck to a few local car shows, weekend cruiser but will never see a track, don't drive crazy at all, just don't need it and figure my money can be better invested elsewhere.

They're not about the track. These trucks should've had them stock. But it's your money.
Personally I'd keep the bars.

I got my longbars for 480 shipped new so these prices seem reasonable. I’m interested in the chassis stiffening system along with the driveshaft safety loop as long as we can figure out the shipping and/or meetup arrangements. PM being sent now.

I fitted the Stiffler chassis set up first, it wasn't a night and day difference, but a net improvement .
I then fitted the long rod traction bars, again not a night and day improvement but as the truck is only street driven it does hold the back end in place and improve the ride with out the “scittery” back end bouncing around of rough roads.
