I prob have the cheapest set up out there

Plain Jane Black Rims,

Hoosier 28x10 C07 Slicks
American Racing 16x8 Rims

and 1.6 (or on a bad day low 1.7's) each and every time :D

I got mine used (but brand new) for $500.00 with Bars :smt026
People are ALWAYS selling slicks, look around and buy used if possible

If possible you should of course try and get 16x10 rims,
and you DEF want 28" high slicks, NOT 26" high
(I'll keep my ears open Bro) :smt023

well I know you said your not looking for flashy, but I have to post pics of my slicks every chance I get...lol

To answer your question though using stock f150 rims is not the best idea, I believe they are only 16x7 which is way to narrow to run a slick on. Your best bet is to hunt around for some 16x10" rims used and mount a set of slicks to them.

BTW mine are Eagle Alloy Convo Pro's 16x10, with 28x10x16 Hoosier Drags...but I'm thinking of trying out the M&H RaceMaster 30" slick since they are the only company that makes a 30" tall slick for a 16" rim.

How much power are you puttinto the wheels?Im gonna have to say with 373 gears and anywhere under 400 h.p you might wanna go with 26 inch tall.from 400 to around 475 go with 28 inch tall and for power above 475 i think 30 inch is the way to go.Just my opinion from using 26 and 28 inch tall tires.
over 400 for sure i dynoed 387 before now my ported eaton and new race tune are gonna be on so it will be over 400. thanks guys
