Hey Guys, I'm right in the middle of a winter "weight reduction project".

I'm just curious what a roll pan *actually weighs*? Andbody measure one?

not sure but if its fiberglass it should weigh a crap load less than the stock one.

Your stock bumper is over 80 lbs. The Lund tailgate wighs around 8 lbs.

Actully no. It weighed 57lbs. And now it weighs 25lbs
I'm just looking to how I now compare to a common gen2 rollpan.

What did you take off the bumper to halve it`s weight? Sounds like a good afternoon project.

I'll post all about it in next months e-zine "part 2".

What I will say is that I am keeping my truck in 95% fully functional form. In other words.. I'm 240lbs and can stand anywhere on the bumper.

Great news. I am looking for ways to save weight, but don`t care
much for the rollpans I have seen so far.

I know a gen 2 Lightning is'nt *exactly* a sleeper.. But I really like sleepers. I just love the look of a stock vehicle that smokes cars it should'nt be beating.
