Folks who have put in an Explorer console (like the ones Chris the12fast4u does)... where is the rear bolt hiding? I watched Chris install mine, but can't for the life of me find the rear bolt on this console!
(I'm removing it to install sound deadener).
Thanks for any tips...
Ken

Here are some pics, for folks who might need to remove their console.

Pictured above were the rear attachment bolts, the front attachment bolts (with tray removed), the rear attachment plate, and the front attachment plate. What's not very visible is that on the rear attachment plate, there are a couple of 1" slots that receives the two tabs on the console frame. The trick to remove the console is to slide the whole unit back about 1", then lift up. There's not a lot of room for it to slide back, because there is the hump there, but there IS just barely enough room.
Good luck!
