Wile E. Coyote, Super Genius!
Yup, I have an old 98 Ford Ranger for driving when Mother Nature is pissed. Lightning hasn't been out of the garage in three weeks. My 04 Lightning has a little over 71,000 on it.Ahh! Take it from me! Mine at 117k miles daily driver sandbags winter tires 4 years in Minneapolis. It did really hang. Tried to get by w summer tires slush in Milwaukee stop no don't. After a bad slip n getaway over a curb my boost was instantly slapping to 11 or 12 psi just road rage. It sat outside in the snow 2 years. Mechanic says yes we can clean the blower fluid and intercooler never touched 18 years. Wrong answer. Since then it flatlined at 8psi sad clown boost no tunes major electrical problems.
Its cheaper to buy a winter car from Kenosha WI for 2-4k when it takes a shop 8k and 4 months to fix it.
Get the winter beater for the love of God.
