Just purchased a neglected 99 with 127k miles. She needs a lot of TLC and it will take a while but I couldn't pass this one up. Looking forward to showing you all the progress and hopefully get some good tips along the way!

Welcome aboard. If I remember correctly- 99s only came in 3 colors....black, white, and red.

Congrats on your purchase, post up some pics, and get to enjoy it before the snow comes.

Alright guys here she is......she needs a decent amount of work, mostly cosmetic, but I picked her up cheap enough to where you wouldn't believe me if I told you. I don't know how someone could neglect a Lightning like this, but that comes to an end. I'll need some help along the way, cuz I'm a lightning noob for sure. Well here goes nothin........

Thanks for the welcomes, she's a project thats for sure. I'll drive it occasionally until that stuff that starts with S starts falling, then into the garage for the winter.

Immediate plans are to fix some of the cosmetic items like the front bumper cover, update the headlights, corners, and take care of the rust on the rear bumper and bottom of the drivers door-which will probably just turn into replacing the door. This weekend or next I plan to take the blower off and clean up the intercooler, and replace the spark plugs. Also I have a noise either coming from the crank pulley which I need to narrow down and fix, sounds horrible. I'm new to the blower scene, I have a diesel super duty so i'm more of a turbo guy, however I'm anxious to learn and to start tinkering a bit.
