need to replace my muffler

I have a dual in/out Flowmaster muffler and want to get a new muffler and was wondering what would be a good replacement unit. One of the baffles in mine right now is making a rattling noise. I was thinking about getting 2 of the DynoMax race bullits mufflers but I should have mufflers with some back pressure. I have no cats and was wondering what everyone seems to like and what is a good one to get? thanks for the help.

The Bassani catback is killer!!! :D

I have my borla xr-1 custom catback that is sitting around waiting for a new home as it is up for sale! That setup consists of dual Borla XR-1 sportsman mufflers and a magnaflow x-pipe. I used the stock piping and tips in this catback. The sound is a real nice growl at cruising speeds and at WOT the XR-1's really come to life! NOW remember, that is my description with that catback with STOCK cats still in place! I can image how it would sound on your L being that yours has NO CATS, I can only image the sound at idle, cruising and at WOT! DAMN! :D

The bullets with an x-pipe would be cool as well!

Also, you can do like this one guy did and buy two 1 chamber flowmaster mufflers and an x-pipe, but I wouldn't spend the high price for the flowmaster brand one chamber muffler($74 each), rather I would buy the "IMCO" brand which is practically the SAME thing as flowmaster! Their one chamber muffler is like $28 or around there and they look practically identical... cheaper than a dynomax bullet!

I had the dyno max mufflers on my truck when I bought it a few months ago and it sounded good with the x-pipe, but I wanted to be loud so I switced to JDM Silverbullet. I have two dyno max mufflers sitting in my garage that are ready to go to someone. I can get them to you for $75 shipped to your door. I take paypal but add two dollars to cover pay pall fees if you are interested. Here are a few pictures of them. If you want the tips you can have them. We had a probelm when He took them off. He forgot to take the pipeing out of one of the tips he for some reason just hacked it off. They can be taken out by a muffler shop but I have not taken them back just for that.
how wide are these mufflers you have for sale. I want to see if it will fit right in place of the old muffler or is there some other work needed. Please let me know the length.
The mufflers are 14" Long
