I'm going back and forth on which to use on my 1999 Lightning that has a stock bottom end and heads.
it seems that the MP would more straightforward to install and the gt 500 would not use my current intake setup?
Any opinions of what you guys are doing or have done with yours?

Forge the bottom end and spin the hell out of a ported Eaton until you can afford a SC upgrade later on down the road.

MP GB Spot

I have $600 in my MP GB and would sell that spot to you for $500 if you are interested. I am changing direction and will be going with the plate for my build.

After all the issues with the last GB of the MPs i would avoid getting one. I ran a 2.3 Whipple on my stock block with zero issues but def not at any boost level to equal cost lol.

Get a 2.3 whipple. Soin it slow til your built then turn it up to 10.

That blower is capable of more than 95% will ever need.

With that said, I love my m122 swap, it makes much more torque than my 2.3 whipple did without sacrificing any noticable amount in 3rd gear.
Torque is what makes it fun for me.
