Big Jim (Top Gun) nice to see you on LR but can you make your comments a little shorter * LOL *

can give us your thoughts on my post about that he shouldn’t touch the truck (FOR NOW )

i already know Marty is not going to take my advice * LOL*

I would like your opinion as you have been in the game a lot longer and I have*

and it would be nice for you say a little more than a (6) word sentence * lol*

i know nothing next to you and I wrote a bible lol*

we don’t call you Top (Gun Gun) for nothing * Hahaha *

Looks like a text I sent him... Lol
I've got a few minor adjustments to make. Need to take away some camber from the front suspension.
Fresh plugs..
Just got invited to another track rental on June 14th..

I have been checking in here on my laptop mostly since my heart issues. I hate using the laptop. So I read all but keep responses limited.

As for the advice to keep things the same? I doubt it would be heeded. Those that push to these levels have something in their being that forces gains to be made. Plus the combo is so fresh that lots will be learned each outing. It is not my $$$ so I can't encourage/discourage the risk factors. But to extract the most out of the combo will take some experimenting. We have discussed before why changing shock settings will allow gains on good track condition days. Of course a base setting that gets us out good will always "work". But ET is left on the table unless you get to the setting that allows traction and limits travel at those conditions.

Keeping tuned to see how far Marty gets!

My man Big Jim (Top Gun) I have no doubt that Marty will get the most out of his truck *

Marty will go 8s with no problem *

Not many guys no more about our trucks than Marty does*

To get the best Et #1) you have to have the powe needed * Obviously*

#2) You need a very good (60) Ft*

3) you need good track prep *

#4) you need the right weather to Achieve this* NOT ON A HOT Humid day and a DA that’s + 5;000

my thinking is if you run a good ET on a bad weather day I will wait to see how she will run on a good weather day with the same setup before making any changes*

I’m not saying that’s the right thing to do *

it’s what I would do and have done *

I would never push my truck in bad weather conditions *

only because you will not get the best out of your truck in bad weather conditions *

make changes and adjustments. Yes I agree, but on a good air day to get the full potential out of your truck*

you can’t get good results on a bad air day *

once you get your 60ft down pat. with the shock settings * Your good to go*

once I found the right suspension that made my truck 60 foot the best she could that’s what I stayed with and never changed my settings since (2014)*

All I ever did was to Concentrate on getting the best 60 foot that i could *

it’s not that hard *

But that’s just me *

I’m 💯 positive that Marty knows what he’s doing *

looking forward in seeing that 8 Second time slip *

Lets go MARTY**

Congrats Marty! Looking forward to seeing how fast you can go.
Ok so who wants to start a go fund me for Marty and his truck so we can get him and his truck shipped out here for Spookfest this year? I know I would chip in a few bucks to not only see this truck but to meet the man I have spoken to alot over the phone. Who is up for it? Marty?
