Evidently the technology exists where we can get any car painted for like 3 dollers. ??‍♂

I’ve been to these places. They do zero prep work and use a single stage base coat with no clear.

Here’s a shop by me.

It's like, to get a real paint job isn't even worth putting so much money into an old and outdated vehicle lol.

We just restored a 2001 Chevy 1500 for a man. He must really love his truck. He and his wife bought it new when they got married and ect. After doing new rocker panels and repair and refinish all damage the final cost was nearly $17K...
It looks brand new now but imo that’s insane spending that much $ on a Chevy.

IDONO...spending 60...70..80 grand or more for a new ...pick up truck...
THAT's crazy..

if you just put another 20 years of reliable use into that fella's truck ..kudo's to you..!!
