MAC Catback

Just changed out my catback with the MAC unit with Stainless tips. Before this I was dead even with my buddy in his 04 Mustang GT with pullies and coldair kit. All I have in the truck is a JLP CAI, and this catback and I pull hard on him now, is this really that huge of a gain in HP or am I just imagining things?

It's 99.9% the other conditions at the time. A cat back change won't gain you anything. That is... unless the old one was plugged up or somethin?

How does the Mac Catback sound on a Stock truck. Get us some sound clips if you can.
What's your location? I have read complaints about the Mac cat-back rusting in the more northern (salted) states.

Hi herb I am in Florida so not too worried about rust just wanted the tips to look good and have a bit more sound for cheap. $288 was in my price range so I went with it. I will work on getting some sound clips for you guys.
I have the MAC Catback also, but I have noticed they tend to stick out a bit more than others, anyone else have this problem?
yeah, mine stick out too. however you should have been able to pull your buddy's car pretty hard from a dead stop, in stock form. good win none the less....nothing like talking chit about your TRUCK beating your friends mustang.
