Little Track outing in my gen 1

Just wanted to post my track pass with my gen 1 over here. Simple build for those that don't know this truck. Stock bottom end with 206k miles, trick flow 170 heads, baby roller cam, and about 22 psi turbo boost from a mid mount set up under the truck. Only thing was my vacuum line that goes to my megasquirt ECU came off and truck went into limp mode so I was down probably a tenth and maybe 5-6 mph. This was a personal best ET even with the mishap. I also believe this may be the quickest stock bottom end pass in the 1/8 mile for a gen 1.

Lol it was on a friend's phone. Funny thing was when I watched on his phone is was perfectly clear.. now it looks like it was shot on a potato.

Mid mounts have always intrigued me. Was considering mounting turbos in front area of bed at some point. But the predictability of superchargers never lets me get close to doing the better performing turbos.

They are both very different power adders. The twin screw is very easy to make work. Turbos can make more power but will require a lot of extra work, fabrication, and tuning to go fast.
