Hey guys and gals. Been plagued by an issue for a bit. On first start up, I'll let the truck warm up for a few minutes before driving. As soon as I start driving, the truck will spit and sputter for a few seconds then be fine for the rest of my trip. Get to where I'm going, shut the truck off, restart to go somewhere else, the problem repeats. It seems that the fault resets itself once the truck is shut off. Stock engine. Only mods r high flow bassani mid pipe and magnaflow muffler. Tune by JJ. the truck has the same problem whether I'm running JJ tune or on the stock tune. Things I've done: checked all coil packs (all seem fine), put brand new plugs (problem occurred with old plugs too. Old plugs only had 2,000 miles on them), new motorcraft tps sensor adjusted to .98v, new fuel filter, cleaned the MAF, cleaned the inter cooler, just replaced the fuel pumps (problem occurred with the old fuel pumps as well), all new Bosch o2 sensors. It has me stumped. Thanks for the input.

Also have this damn o2 sensor code that will not go away. P0135 circuit 1 sensor 2. I put 2 brand new sensors in it each purchased at different locations, cleared the code, came right back on. JJ turned off the rear o2 sensors in the tune. Code came right back on. I can't find any breaks in the wiring harness anywhere. I guess it's safe to say there's a fault in the pcm?

I have a code that will NOT leave a particular tune, even after the tune was fine for a year and a half. Tried another previous tune and no code.

I wouldn't call it a PCM so quick....or even not so quick...

For one you would be very lucky to find one!!!!! If you do, go play lotto also!!!!!!!!

People say they can get one, but they can't... they are usually attached to engines being sold on Craig's List

Well as far as the stumbling issue, I cleaned the MAF pretty good along with the IAC, egr valve, the port on the manifold where the egr bolts to. The truck ran great for 2 days now it's back to falling on its face after each start up. So damn annoying

It's so weird. I don't want to start throwing parts at it. Bad thing is the only code showing is for the o2 sensor so I don't have any codes to chase the misfire. I guess it's one of those things I'll have to wait till it's bad enough to throw a code.

Figure which O2 sensor it is and check the wiring to it more than likely its some wire that has gotten fried or pinched and is touching exhaust or metal somewhere.

Interesting as mine will throw P0430 (driver side rear O2) every now and again and my rear O2's are turned off in my tune as well.

I'll go through the wires and see if there is a break or pinch somewhere and see if that fixes it.

Yea I still haven't been able to look at the truck. Between work and working on other people's cars, haven't had the time. I bet there's a wire pinched up by the transmission where I can't get to. The code is showing bank 1 sensor 2 which, correct me if I'm wrong, is passenger side rear sensor. The harness runs up kind of between the trans and body. I'll try my best to get at it. JJ tried turning off the rear o2 but didn't help. He said if it's a circuit code then the computer will always recognize the fault and turning off the rear o2 will do nothing. Like stated above, probably a fried wire somewhere.

Boss hoss, whenever u do get that code, does it cause ur truck to shutter or stumble sometimes? Just trying to see if the code is related to my stuttering problem.

I clear it as soon as it rears its ugly head. Lol

I did find this today and figure it's the culprit. Green wire was taped into O2 sensor. Smdh

Should've caught it when I was installing the exhaust but it slipped by.

Hey bird I will get some logs up. I was actually going to send those logs to JJ as well.
Hey boss hoss damn that's crazy. I wish mine were that obvious. I've peeled off the loom and exposed all the wires I could for the o2 sensor and everything looks great. It's probably some part of the harness that's impossible to get to or the computer is bad lol.
