Got back together. Still leaks 🤦🏻‍♂️ I’m gonna bore scope back there and see exactly where it’s leaking. I’m betting it gonna have to have those Tig welded in.

Same here. Let us know what you find. Mine has a small drip that runs down the back of the drivers side. What about a coolant sealant? I’ve been thinking about trying it first since I’ve had it off twice already and mines pretty small now.

If it is indeed leaking from there again I’ll be taking the Turkey pan to my tool and dye friend. He will get me fixed up. I suggested to him that it needs Tig welded. But will see what he thinks. He said I should’ve used a tapered reamer or somthing 😬

I found that the leak is in the pipe in the passenger side. I think I can remove and install it without removing the turkey pan. I believe it failed because I did not allow the pipe thread sealant to dry 24hr before starting it up.... I think I’ll try once more with the pipe dope. The driver side held up good this time.

Lee is that the JLP Thunder Tube? I really wanted one when I was planning on my set up, but I hadn’t seen anyone else use one and I emailed JLP and he said he didn’t think it would work so I just went with the plan ole whipple elbow.

No sir. It’s a custom CAI made by @Johnny . It has a provision for the slot style MAF.
