I go through the traps SCREAMING at well over 5000 RPM running high 11's
You will DEF need 30" slicks running mid 10's
BTW
To do that off spray is simply amazing :smt023 :smt023 :smt023

All my 10 sec Bro's tell me you can get away with a few hi 10's on 28", but for the safety of the motor, and just plain ole logic , once you consistantly run 10's, you will need 30" slicks.

I HOPE TO HAVE THAT PROBLEM SOMEDAY (&$^%@($&%@($%@$(&@%$(

My 10.59, no nitrous using stock 3:73 gears was pulling some good RPM thru the traps, but I still had a tad left (300-400rpm) before I start to worry.

My plan is to run a 10.30 or better on all boost, then step up to the NOS for a shot at a nine, but once I run in the .30's, I want to run either 3:55's or a 31-32 inch slick to acheive better times.

Hey Rob, a mid 10 feels awesome on all boost buddy.. :D :D

If an L runs 10.5 in the quarter, It seems the slick choice was right on. If it is a truck that has not run this number yet, I feel the 28s will be closer due to altitude. You will learn a lot about the truck approaching those performance numbers.
