I had been interested in adding cogs to my truck for a long time but the price tag was always too high. I decided to make my own out of a vortech setup for 5.0 mustangs. Right now is am running 1 lipped idler with 1 on order. My tensioner cog is an idler from a subaru on a modified mustang tensioner. It's too small so it will be upgraded soon. Here is what I have so far:

It's an interesting combo, I'd be a little cautious about the proximity of the teeth on the belt where your idler is pushing the wrap. There's no belt slip with cogs so the Metco is not needed. If those teeth clash you could damage the belt... it happened to me with a MP idler bridge. What is that lower setup?
