So, I am planning on getting the SM 03/04 20" reps soon and need some guidance on tires. I am thinking about going 275/40 with 315/35 in rear.
Would it be better to stick with 275/40,45 or 295/40 all the way around?

Does anyone have pictures of 20" reps with 315/35 that are at factory 9.5", not widened? Any cons with running that wide a tire?

Also, I don't take it to the track and drive it maybe 1,500 miles a year when weather is nice.

I have 295/40/20 all the way around. I think 315 will be to big and you will need to widen the rim. I rotate my tires so I prefer to have the same size.

275/40 20 up front ; 295/40 20 out back for a nice raked look

275/40 all around for a slammed truck, almost same height as stock tire (.21" taller)

295/40 all around if you like lots of sidewall...almost a full inch (.84") taller than stock wheel/tire setup
A tire that is almost an inch taller than stock and the same width shouldnt be employed (imo) on a low truck. I rubbed a lot with djm lowers only (3" drop), on stock wheel and tire

275/45 and 295/40 are about the same size sidewall

I think the 275/40 and 295/35 look the best but the amount of side wall concerns me.

275/45 and 295/40 still look ok and provide me with the side wall size I would want.

I couldn't be happier with my 295/35/20 Nitto INVOs. That combo puts you at almost the same diameter as stock and there is still plenty of sidewall.

275/40 all around would fit nice. The 295/35 is also a good fitment. 295/40 too big IMO

I have just fitted a set of 295/40 20's to my new Centreline Rims
Went for some Pirelli P-Zero for the wet /grip rating, these are used on the big performance 4x4s and such like.
Worth a try anything has to be better than Hankook on our crap UK roads.
I had some Advan Sport on my old 20's tough tyre but the slightest hint of damp and your tail is off.
Once back on the road in few weeks will see the results

Agreed on that. Glad I went with 295/35
