HAPPY NEW YEAR!
As we look back on 2004 at John Force Racing, it was a great year for personal accomplishments and our race teams! John won an unprecedented 13th NHRA POWERADE Funny Car Championship and became the “Quickest & Fastest” funny car in the world at 4.665 at 333.58mph. Ashley won Indy and several other races, including the NHRA Division 4 – Top Alcohol Dragster - Lucas Oil Championship, while Eric came close to winning “Rookie of the Year” and finished sixth in the championship chase, while Gary won the biggest race of the year at the 50th Anniversary Mac Tools U.S. Nationals - Indy race and doubled up also winning the Skoal Showdown at the same race, to finish 5th in the points. The Ford Mustangs once again proved that they are the cars to beat, and Force Racing proved they are the teams to beat. Next year look for Britney & Courtney Force to set their own personal records in their Super Comp dragster. A big thanks goes out to the entire Darien & Meadows Race Team for giving Ashley a championship dragster this year!
There is no question that the bar was raised this year by a number of great teams in the Funny Car class. And you can that 2005 will bring out the very best these teams have to offer, as Worsham, Scelzi, Bazemore, Wilkerson, T.J., Densham and the Pedregon brothers battle for the Championship again. These and many other teams are going to be trying to beat a Force car…………..including our new driver of the AAA funny car!
The John Force Holiday Car Show was a huge success this year and collected thousands of toys for needy children. Thanks to the thousands of fans that showed up in the rain and the 450 car show participants that displayed their incredible vehicles.
