This basically brings me to Summer of 2017. I drove the truck for that year. Spring of 2018 I left for a little over a year so the truck sat.
Summer 2019 I got home from Virginia, got divorced and used the truck as an outlet.

Im missing a few pictures here but you'll get the point

Pulled the bed to install stifflers long bars
hotchkis 2.1 shocks
fore fuel hat
WMS fuel lines
fore regulator
metco rails
ID1050X injectors
DW300 fuel pumps

The plan was to run the kenne bell on E85 and shoot for 600-ish
When the KB came off I felt it was making a noise I didn't like. So I bought a 2.9 whipple.

Sadly the first start of the whipple proved their gasket is ass, and you should just use RTV lol
This video is titled first start, but its actually the first start after the first start

Just a funny video of working out the e85 cold starts with Eric

What's your ultimate goal for the truck? Are you where you want the truck to be as it stands now?

On the E85 tune we run enough boost I had to replace my boost gauge

I drove the truck for the short remainder of the summer and like we all do, tore it down for mods in the winter.

some SM0304's with 295/35 555g2's and 305/35 555r's in Hallister bronze were spec'd

Since you can't powder coat plastic the center caps were taken to my painter.

A few missing pictures here. I ordered stifflers lowers and belltech shackles because I wanted the truck to down on the 20s better.
I did a write up here for installing stifflers arms and the hotchkis shocks together. There are probably pictures there.

Spring rolled around and I got laid off for covid. I decided a nice project would be to upgrade the valve springs. Me and Eric had fought a "pop" in the truck when it transitions to boost for years.
Well I thought maybe a weak valve spring was my issue after talking to Kenny. We found out my old trickflow heads had bad springs from trickflow.

Sadly, when I tore the truck down to do the springs we found this

So that lead to this
542553

542554
542555

Fun fact.... here is why you don't use the cast trigger wheel
542556

I ordered up some custom todd warren cams
542557

Ordered up ARM 1-7/8 headers and 3" exhaust
542558

New headgaskets, timing components, and other odds and ends and the motor went back in the truck.

Decided to also delete the AC

I totally fucked up here and installed my passenger cam 180* out.

I fixed the issue and even with the cams timed to ford spec I had an issue with fuel trims bank to bank.

So I ordered some comp gears, tore the motor down again and with the help of Marty Dialed the cams in. The passenger cam was 4.5* off

Got all the tuning done with Eric and decided to go racing.
Local alignment shop couldn't get the truck aligned. So of course, more parts.
Stifflers uppers
542563

And we go racing
This is my street tune, full weight. 4750lbs with driver
Only change is rear tires.
542564

542565

The cams are much milder at idle than the old ones

Pump gas drive by

E85 cold starts dialed in

And the race

So at this point, the 20's look retarded with stock brakes behind them
A call to Todd @ tce solved that issue.

15" front rotors
6 piston calipers
Hydroboost with custom lines(thanks to Daemon for the write up)

And that is basically caught up.
I plan to add a CTS3 and 2 gauge pod to the truck and get rid of my aeroforce.
I have also started collecting parts for a 6 speed swap, but that's a long range plan.

I kind of spelled it out in the last post

I want to get it on the dyno and get a sheet that says 700hp or more
I need to get back to the track this summer and get a 10 second slip

And then just drive it. There isn't much left to do. I need to find a project for my daughter so we can start working on that.

Coming along nicely. I hope to get this far with mine someday. Also thanks for the shout out for the hydroboost thread! But u spelled my name wrong. After your 1/8 mile pass and time im sure a 10.xxx in the 1/4 sld be no problem. Good luck.

Should be in the 10s easy. As for the 6 speed swap... Why?

Why not?
I don't drag race. I went once last year. The last time before that was like 2014.
It'll make the truck completely different which it needs. It's getting stagnant after 11 years of ownership.
I like having a manual for occasional driving.

The only downside is "it'll be slower"

Harder to launch. Slower shifts. More shifts before the finish line.
