I used to have one on another forum, but the forum is gone. So as I'm sitting here bored, listening to my 12 year old do her homework I figured I would start one.

I bought the truck in 2010 from a forum member. I can't find his account anymore. But he was BlackL01 and I think he changed it to DSGL04. His name was Mike Lott

The truck had 109,000 on it. Ported blower. Upper and lower pulley. Bassani short tubes and a terrible flowmaster exhaust. It had belltech coils and shocks. Few other minor mods and was tuned by Brian Macy.

I think mike had run a best of 12.89 @ 109 or something close to that.

Here is how it sat as purchased.

That September I learned what a J1 transmission is. I deployed in October so the truck sat broken until May

Upon returning from deployment I bought a built 4R100 from DMP in san diego and a Circle D 11" converter.

I combined those two mods and some slicks and ran a 12.41 @ 110 in the summertime

So now that the fun and games were over, the ugliness of Murphy's law reared its head.
When I bought the truck I was told the long block had about 10k miles on it. Sadly, it developed a tick and finally a massive miss. Bent valve, broken valve guide and it threw a roller follower.

Here you can see where the valve and plug boss made contact.

I was going to do a real basic rebuild. I learned the heads were worthless because the cams had been honed and someone installed cam bearings. As the motor came out I found that whomever installed was a fucking hack job at best.

So the build consisted of
Trickflow heads with comp 270's
forged bottom end. The heads made the compression 9.4:1
I sent the eaton to Posi to get it ported. Stripped the rotors
Basic fuel system of stock rails, 60s, 255's

542488

542489

542490

542491

It was a budget build so to speak. Lots of new parts, lots of used parts.

I didn't run the eaton very long. I got a deal on an MP and swapped over.
542492

Lots of stock parts still under the hood. Stock res and ic lines. Stock washer fluid, stock overflow.
The EGR and cats are gone at this point, and its rocking a Magnaflow 2.5" catback.

But it sounded good.

Also, lets discuss how bad of a tuner Amazon was

Couple of freeway pulls with the MP

At this point it's mid 2012. The truck made 490/550 with the MP only making about 13lbs

Here you can see I've made a few changes. The MP is on. I swapped to a JLP res and some rubber ic lines. I have also swapped to a Jabsco pump.

She's 3 in that picture. She's almost 13 now and more involved than ever.

Somewhere about this time I got tired of the suspension. I bought a hotchkis TVS off marty, minus the rear sway bar and installed it.

Stock swaybar, belltech coils and stock leaves. I took off the belltech shackles and put stock ones on

And how it sat after.

So, in early 2013 I deployed again. This time I decided to do the interior.
Corbeau LG1's. Black carpet. Center Console. And I decided to add long tubes and go to a 3" exhaust
Also did a deck, speakers and a small sub. Raam Audio sound deadening and a new bed cover

After this I stumbled on a deal on a 2.3 kenne bell. I upgraded the ic hoses again.
With its current trim it made 540/620 on pump gas and ran 11.40

Here's an idle clip on just long tubes

With the 3" installed

Retarded hooning

4th of July burnouts

11.40 pass(ignore the announcer, I was there with Marty and he confused our trucks)

Dyno video

I ran this combo for years. Basically making a few changes here and there. New gauges. 2004 wheels

This will be my setup minus your exhaust. It’s awesome that you were able to keep track of everything With pictures. I’m trying to do that now So I can do something like this post in the future.

Dad's from north dakota. I've been a vikings fan since 87.

As far as tomorrow... I couldn't care. I don't really watch football unless it's the vikings.

I am supposed to be at work for mandatory overtime. Told them I wouldn't be there. I'll be at my favorite place tomorrow evening cheering for the Brown's. Baker Mayfield was an Oklahoma University quarterback before be went NFL and left for the Browns.

So i kind of lost place chronologically here. I also may have lost a shit ton of photos from Aug 2019-Sep 2020. I lost my phone in a lake and am still replacing some of them. We'll see what I can dig up.

Couple more mods I installed that I didn't catalog elsewhere

Panhard bar

I replaced the slider

I installed TF valve covers for about 10 minutes.

That puddle is the oil collected in the lower intake after just a few hours of driving
