As I have to build my engine piece by piece due to funds, would the Cobra R water pump work with my stock fan or do I have to buy an electric fan? Thank you,

no it won't, it has no shaft on the front of it to mount the fan on. it is a waste of money anyways.

I suggest not going with the cobra pump unless your trying to squeeze every last little HP out of the motor.

I am in the process of building my engine and would like to come close to 500hp.

Get the Efan, but keep tour stock pump.

Yep.. the fan is definately worth it. I'm assuming you have an 01? If so it'll have a "7 blade" impeller. That's what your wanting.

i was wondering too about an e-fan do u feel any difference or see one? they just did a thing on it on auto something on speed channel. it was on a silver lightning with a kenne bell. i dont remember what it added but it would be a lot more than my truck since they have a kenne bell i presume? right?
