Which tensioner arms are you using? If billet then the ratchets need to be modified on the iron tensioners.

Why? Id like to know.
It will over tension the chain, things will break. I removed all the ratchets and installed custom plunger spacers. I'm running mmr billet guides and tensioner arms

I have the MMR tensioners and billet arms, the ratchets were removed and left piston was cut down.

Did you machine the piston to the stock length? Basically measuring what it was with the stock arms prior?

I think it was only .050 off, You don't want the piston to bottom out in the tensioner.
The pistons in the MMR and stock are the same length.

Mine ended up with about .050" free play after matching the piston down.
