So I’m doing a lightning swap into my 02 mustang and I’m realizing that the mustangs fuel system doesn’t have a return line. And the fuel lines are on the opposite side of the engine anyway. Will the fuel rail from the mustang flow enough fuel or do I need to figure something else out? I’m planning on running stock Lightning injectors.

just use aftermarket fuel rails and plug one end so it’s a returnless

I also still have a couple 97 fuel rails available that would allow you to use an aftermarket regulator. Let me know if interested.

The fuel rails won't fit. A 5.4 is wider. The 4.6 rails are too narrow.

Stock lightning rails are pretty easy to come by.

I have a set of stock lightning fuel rails but they’re return style and the mustangs stock fuel system is returnless. If I can figure out a way to make it work without having to redo the whole fuel system that would be ideal.
