The third seat mod is one of my favorite mods, here's the how-to I followed. What is the best way to replace the rear console with a seat? I think we'd rather have the additional seat.

I did not shim the leg as shown in the how-to, I opted to massage the floor with a BFH so all legs sat flush on the floor. Here's a post I made after making the swap.

I've just got off a 12 hour shift and will be starting another 12 hour shift in two hours so I'll post more tips when I get off. I can also post more link I have saved as well as pics of other members' conversions so you can see some options.

Be sure to get as much of the hardware, etc. as you can... to include seat bolts, the plastic covers for the front legs, seat belt bolts and the flap behind the seat that folds down to cover the gap between the seat and back wall.
Bear in mind that the factory HD back wall protrudes forward in the center where the center console sits and the flap behind the seat will not bolt up. I replaced the back wall with the wall panel out of a regular SCrew but I had to paint it with SEM paint to match but this allows me to have flaps behind each seat to cover the gaps.
