Ive been thinking for awhile about what and how i want to do my motor when the time finally comes. I think i have the rotating assembly all picked out, but was wondering what some have done as far as "needed" arp hardware for the short/long block. I know i will use ARP harware for the normal stuff like the mains, side bolts for the mains, arp2000 head studs, flexplate bolts (will have arp2000 rod bolts and a cranksaver stud for the snout). My question is are there any other areas of the motor/block that are strengthened or where ARP hardware is really needed other than what ive already listed? Like cam sproket bolts, or tensioner bolts or cam tower bolts? Do you get new bolts for everything or use most from old motors? I havent looked to see how many bolts in the motor are tty(trq to yield). And if yall did use arp something can you please provide part numbers. Thanks

I re-used a lot. Other than what you listed in the short block I used arp for:
Cam tower
Cam gear

And that's it. Josh made a list of almost ever bolt on the engine in arp form
