Wow. It's been a very long time since I've been on here. Glad to see these trucks still have a loyal following.
So my MP Supercharger snout blows front seals one after another. I just did a rebuild with new bearings and a factory EATON front seal. Drove it to work and after the drive home the underside of the snout behind the upper pulley was wet with oil. Filled it up with about 5.5oz after rebuild. That's all it'd take.
Anyone might have an idea what's causing this? I've used the current Eaton seal and the double lip viton seals and all of them leak.
Is spinning the unit too fast a possibility? I'm running a 10lb lower.
What should the average temp of the unit be?
