Got a Magnaflow catback to put on my '01. Managed to torch off the stock u-clamp and get the rubber isolators off but now I can't physically get the damn thing out from the mid-pipes. Anyone got advice on how to remove it? I sprayed it down with PB Blaster for tonight. Would rather not break out the Sawzall and butcher it

I ended up butchering mine with the sawzall after fighting with it..

Might be the beer talking but I am about to strap the hangers to something solid near my garage and just put the transmission in D... that should do it.

I had to use a cutoff wheel and a sawzall on mine as well. Only took a few minutes that way.

PB Blaster it pretty good

Then take a rachet strap and connect it to the cat back and then to the bumper or something roughly staight back. Crank it down nice at tight.

Once it is tight shake the catback up and down and left and right HARD. Maybe even whack the connection point with a hammer.

Rachet strap is probably a little loose now. Crank it back up and repeat.

Catback off with no cuting.
