If your tuned for 100 and you switch to 93, you just need to turn down the timing a bit.

But to answer your question, I dont think the equation is "leaner or richer" but more of how much timing you can or can not run safely.

Race fuel = more timing / while keeping detination at bay







hopefully someone can chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.

It could run leaner on pump. Depends on the chemistry of the race fuel. But I would think 100 unleaded would be close to 93 pump.

My tune with the Maf curve set up for pump runs about a half a point richer on C16.

If you were tuned on 93, the A/F shouldn't change when you go to 100. You probably won't make any more power unless you have high heat/humidty at the time. The 100 would help if the trucks pulling timing in high heat or humidty though. How much boost are you running? It really depends on the overall tune.

I was tuned on at least 100 maybe 101/102 but can use 93 because that same tune has the timing backed down as well as the boost. 20/21 to 16/17 boost. 17 to 12 on timing..
