well the trans in the HD finally crapped out. Left the wife stranded with a 6yr old and a 3yr old about an hour from my location. Had AAA tow it back home and inspected it when I got home. There no obvious signs of damage. No fluid leaks, no cracks, no electrical faults...just up and quit. Apparently it ran fine and then just stopped. No warning or sounds. Not sure if the converter took a dump or the pump or what. Anyways just sharing the fun I'm having.

Have you checked to see if fuse 23 is good?

Stripped splines are no good... This makes me wish I used a billet forward drum and input shaft. I am nervous about mine.

I have already ripped out two of them. Going with billet.

What power level is the stock forward drum capable of?

Im not sure, I ripped the drum and 4 pinion planet out of the last one.
