This only occurs after the engine has reached operating temperature. The truck starts fine, idles fine, and will accelerate normally when it’s cold. I can give it boost and it performs as expected. After it warms up, I can only accelerate under very slow, smooth throttle. Anything more than a grandma start results in a pretty violent shudder.
The truck has 130k miles on it and the only mods are the turkey pan mod, boost gauge, and a one-piece aluminum driveshaft.
The plugs have less than 1000 miles on them.
I assume it’s not the motor mounts because it only occurs after warm up.
Thinking it may be a torque converter lockup issue, I changed the fluid and filter (with Ford parts) and no improvement.
Recommendations of where to troubleshoot next will be greatly appreciated.
